Job Description

We are partnered with an enterprise solution partner market leading B2B e-commerce agency, seeking an ambitious front-end Magento 2 developer to join them and aid in the development of solutions for enterprise-level merchants.

The ideal candidate is a confident Magento 2 developer with some commercial experience within the space, ideally within an agency environment. In exchange for their specialism they will be given a flexible, remote-first approach to working, and strong avenues for internal progression within a multinational business.

Skills Required:

• Commercial experience with Magento 2
• Experience in custom theme development
• Good understanding of PHP fundamentals
• Experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Ideally some exposure to Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
• Magento 2 certification ideal, but not required

Good to have:

• Git experience
• Experience developing bespoke Magento 2 modules adding both frontend and backend functionality to Magento 2
• Strong skills in PHP,XML,HTML,CSS, LESS & SASS, jQuery
• Experience using AJAX
• Functional Programming and OOP
• Fluent in debugging and browser rendering/performance issues
• Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders in the business
• Build new user-facing elements and features
• Ensure optimisation of maximum scalability and speed
